At Acacia Psychology we recognise the demands of work, study and family commitments and the time restraints these activities can put on our lives. As a result, we are proud to offer phone and video counselling adjunct to our traditional face to face services.

These platforms enable a larger platform of accessibility for those individuals who may otherwise be precluded from traditional support. Situations that may benefit from access to phone and video counselling supports include:

Individuals with a very busy schedule

Individuals residing in rural or remote areas

Individuals who are unable to travel

Individuals with disabilities

Parents & Caregivers who are unable to find suitable care for their children

In addition to the above situations, phone and video counselling is also available to those who seek this option as a personal preference.

In some instances, individuals are eligible for Medicare Rebates for their video counselling sessions. These individuals must be living in a remote or regional location and have access to a mental health care plan (MHCP).

More information surrounding your eligibility for Medicare rebates with video counselling are available at:

"The safety and well being of our clients and staff is always our top priority. Acacia Psychology is currently operating under normal conditions. Due to the pandemic status of COVID-19, some locations may move from face-to-face counselling to secure video or phone. All counselling services are able to be provided 24/7, as always. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and act quickly on the advice of health authorities."
