About Fiona

Fiona is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Parent Consultant and Facilitator. Fiona provides her clients with a safe and non-judgmental space where they can learn to pause, reflect, and identify their emotional needs. This process supports Fiona’s clients to gain a better understanding of how their unmet needs may be impacting their wellbeing.

Fiona supports her clients to re-establish meaningful connections with themselves, their family, their friends, and their chosen community. This is achieved through a variety of strategies that aim to improve a client’s emotional and social literacy. Fiona works from a person-centred approach, ensuring that she always meets her clients where they are at by prioritising a respectful and empathic working relationship.

Fiona is also a qualified Facilitator for the parenting program ‘Tuning into Kids’ & ‘Tuning into Teens’. ‘Tuning into Kids’ & ‘Tuning into Teens’ are a suite of parenting programs that focus on the emotional connection between parents/carers and their children, from preschoolers to adolescents. Qualifications

Fiona has completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Social Work. Fiona has gained Mental Health Accreditation as per the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Fiona has been working in the area of Social Work and Mental Health for over 20 years. Fiona holds her registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) as well as her Clinical Social Work registration as an AMHSW. Fiona proudly adheres to the Ethical, Values & Legal Standards of the AASW, incorporating them into her everyday practice.
