Aleah Haffenden

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Aleah has been working in the mental health field for the past nine years. She enjoys working together to set goals and then breaking them down to creative and achievable steps, so that you can break through the barriers and work towards the quality of life that you desire and deserve.

It is important to Aleah that she provides you with a safe environment, non-judgmental listening, and empathy – which doesn’t feel like work to Aleah as it just feels like genuinely connecting with fellow human beings.

In her practice Aleah uses a mix of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Aleah is client-focused which means you both work on your goals, what is important to you, and what you would like to achieve, whilst acknowledging your strengths and building your self-belief and empowerment.

The majority of her clients are aged 14 and above, and she is particularly interested in working with people experiencing a range of concerns.
